Kinja'd!!!

Fuel filter replacement for my Celica. Unfortunately on the 22RE, it’s bolted to the side of the block, instead of hanging out bare and being laughable easily accessible like on the carburated predecessors.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I can’t wait to document my failures and frustrations for you all to enjoy. Apparently if you jack up the passenger side and remove the tire, it’s accessible enough. But we shall see.

I remember a call to Car Talk - guy was having trouble getting at an oil filter on, I think, a Toyota truck. His buddy didn’t tell him that there was a little door in the wheel well that gave you easy access - he just let him struggle.
